Cellar Door

A site of historical significance, Sevenhill Cellars is the original Clare Valley winery and its 90 hectares of vines provide premium fruit for a diverse range of estate-grown and handcrafted wines including Shiraz, Grenache, Merlot, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon.

A Halliday awarded winery and Gourmet Traveller-awarded cellar door, it is a picturesque property centred on a tree-lined village green and home to the landmark St Aloysius Church.

As well as sampling some of the finest wines in the region at the cellar door, visitors can relax, picnic or play on the lush, shaded lawns or take a stroll down memory lane on a self guided tour of significant sites and retrace the steps of regular visitors like Australia’s only Saint, Mary MacKillop.
